Hey Guys,

I recently won a card on ebay from a U.K seller....card has not been received.
Paid for the item straight after on the 31st October and just last morning received a Paypal refund notice (10 days later after purchasing) from the seller. The only communication that was left for me to source over was...Message from merchant: Paypal are scum, don't trust them The seller did not directly message me through ebay to give a reason why my card had not been sent or let alone a good reason why my money had been refunded.

Card in question
eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d

What do i stand and go from here? Should i just NEG him? i've never given negative feedback to anybody before but im really annoyed at the lack of any real communication and time wasted on the sellers behalf.
thoughts?

Also i have messaged him to ask him to explain whats going on....still no reply...

Sounds dodgy on his end. Either he's received a better offer, or decided not to sell for whatever reason. Would ask him to explain what happened as a start...

Why bother trying to find out? You've got your money back....be thankful for that and move on.
As far as feedback goes...I'd go neutral.....with the facts about what happened. It may serve as a warning to others.

I think you are right that neutral might be the way to go. Can't help feeling stuffed around with no explanation...

Neg for sure, it's not fair on you that he just decided to not send the card because it probably didn't sell for what he wanted, I would have gone neutral but the fact that he doesn't have the common decency to message you with what's happening is poor business and deserves are neg.

I might give him a bit longer to reply to my message. Sent it last night around 7pm or something so i will give him 24 hours to explain why to me...

Give hime a couple days to get back to you...
I was recently negd because a card I posted didn't show...
I offered a full refund if it didn't turn up by weeks end, Had to go away for a funeral
unexpectedly... When i returned i have an email from the buyer and negative FB for not replying INSTANTLY!!
Sometimes, It's a touch much to assume someone is front of the box every waking hour!!

Most likely the card sold for less than he wanted. He needs to be neg'd. No point ebay having auctions if only the overpriced stuff sells and the bargains are cancelled.

had a similar issue, purchased a card, 29/10/11 still has not arrived, seller said he sent, but asked me to wait another week, just raised a paypal claim, they're not responding to any messages, wants i get my refund, NEG all the way, i know they never sent it, they probably received an offer after the auction and have sold it...

Where was the card coming from? Have you checked with your post office?
