ebay notifications ...

A card was listed yesterday with a BIN or best offer. I made an offer. Woke up to find it had been accepted. Paid at 8.26am today.

Right now (5.50pm) I log in to my email address where all my ebay stuff goes to. There is an email from 4.08pm that is a watched item reminder, of that card I have already paid for.

Firstly, it was listed yesterday, it was nowhere near the ending time, why would I get a reminder.
Secondly, I've already paid for the damn thing, why am I getting a reminder!!

Check it not a relisted card with a different number, sometimes this happens when they relist the same item.

Yeah I get those aswell, kinda annoying that they are so late...got one after the auction had ended that I had been outbided a couple hours later. Luckly I was watching it and I made another bid and still won it otherwise I wouldnt have been happy!

Hey, I'm not angry about it, just think it's ridiculous... I generally delete without even looking at most of the reminders from ebay, this one just made me go "seriously??" when I saw it and thought I'd share the absurd situation...

If there was more than one available it does that. to stop it when you win the Offer/Bid just delete it from your watched list as it will now be in your won list.

Nah there wasn't, just the one, which should have moved to sold/completed on my watchlist when I bought it. Yet I still got the reminder. Just seems pretty dumb

Haha it's done it again... I was already watching the relisted item, then made an offer which was accepted. Paid. Feedback received. Couple of hours later I get a "an item you've been watching has been relisted". Click on it, and voila! It's the one I already bought...

obviously he has more than one but not advertising as such, and just keeps relisting the same item, good idea as long the item isnt numbered or unique. Are you keeping the item in your watched folder after you purchase?
