I did it just then, followed the dispute thing and at the end, it said that the final value has been credited to me. I checked my account and indeed it has. It took less than 1 second to get it. Which I am happy about. But is there a way to get a credit on the insertion fee?
Hey Trey, by the sounds of it, Wade sold his item a while before you did, so he has had to wait longer for the payment, therefore, he was creditied the second he filed. You might have to wait the extra few days before you are eligable for it.
Have you gone through the process of ending the transaction with the reason of not wanting to wait any longer to get your final value fee? I think you can only do that when you are eligable for the fee refund?
There are some bad people out there! I'm currently waiting on 3 people who pay who will not contact me out of about 20 auctions I did a few weeks ago! I get better odds for bad eBayer's than for pulling an Auto!
I wont start on the pricks that screw you round then leave you negative feedback for there efforts!
Im pretty sure its coz wade put it in after me when the user was NARU...the dispute policy says u get it back automatically if the person is NARU...which when I did it...they werent, and Ive gotta wait up til 14 days for the person to respond!
I sold a card to hannahmiller recently too and she hasn't paid.. she claims her ebay is playing up but she is still asking for the total. Try and communicate to her outside ebay trey, and if she pays, then send her her card.
yeah I did that a few weeks back tho, its a dude using his chicks account I think....I got the guys work email, and tried, and even sent my bank details to that as they asked (he said he'd pay straight away)....ahh well
Add me to the list. He won 4 of my auctions. I emailed him a week after the auction asking for payment. He responded by stating that he didn't have my payment details, which I then sent him (plus the ebay link). I had many others pay for their auctions, which meant my bank details were accessible through ebay.
He replied that he would pay that week, which he didn't. Last week (Tue or Wed), I sent another message requesting payment by Friday, or I'd report them to ebay (file non-payer claim) and leave -ve feedback. When I check my ebay Sat night, I too find that he's no longer registered. I also filed for reclaim of fees (although I don't have to pay for listing fees - listed on free day).
It shouldn't be too hard to find if he then gets another ebay id. If I see him bid again, I'll remove him.
Good luck with everyone else getting their fees back.
