here is another ebay issue i found frustrating but amusing at the same time.

to keep a very long story short i bought 2 sprewell cards off ebay from a us seller and never received the cards. after numerous emails to the seller i got pissed off and filed for my money back as i paid for global express and after a month the cards still had not arrived.
i got my refund through paypal and then the seller filed a non paying bidder to my account x2 for the 2 cards, so i complained to ebay and originally they told me there was nothing they could do and if there were any more concerns please bring them up. (i don't know where the above emails are but i have the next 2)

so here they are::::

Message: hi,

my biggest concern is that you idiots(a.k.a ebay) don't follow anything up..........WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just received an unpaid item strike for an item i paid for over a month ago and had to file for a chargeback through paypal as i did not receive the item.
now the seller has been a dickhead and filed a non paying bidder notice for no reason and you guys give me a strike.

maybe you should look into something before just listening to one side of the story,i cannot believe how ignorant you can be to the fact that this has happened.

i want this issue resolved a.s.a.p or else i will be taking my business elsewhere.

thankyou

i received this in reply, as always an automated reply[-X

Dear jmallitt15,

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to the Unpaid Item strikes you've received.

eBay does not become involved when Unpaid Item strikes are filed, however if a bidder contacts us to appeal them, we consider the buyer and the seller's positions equally.

I'm sorry to hear that this trade ended in an Unpaid Item strikes on your account. Since this is your first Unpaid Item appeal, we've gone ahead and removed these strikes from your account. (Normally we require proof of payment or email evidence before we can grant an Unpaid Item
appeal.)

Many Unpaid Item strikes result from confusion about how to complete a person-to-person transaction. Please remember that when you click "Place Bid" or "Buy It Now," you're entering into a legally binding contract to purchase the item from the seller if your bid is successful. That's why it's important that you understand the description of the item along with the seller's payment and shipping terms *before* placing your bid.
If you have any questions about the listing, be sure to use the "Ask seller a question" feature.

To help ensure that future transactions run smoothly, I encourage you to check out these buyer tips:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/buyer_checklist.html

If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reply to this email and let us know.

Sincerely,
Denton

can i just say too i provided proof of payment (through paypal which they run and control) and it still made no difference:mad:
the only reason they removed the strikes was because it was my first strike.

i have written back to ebay and said if an issue like this arises again with my account i will be gone, i wish i had these emoticons and i would have done this:smt071 :smt070 :smt068 :smt014 :smt067 :smt076 :smt097 :smt097 :smt097 :axe: :axe: :axe:

thanks for reading guys, all my troubles have been typed away=D>

Haha....like you said very annoying but also amusing.

I just wonder though....does you threatening to leave really bother them??

to be honest mate, i would be surprised if they even read the emails i sent.

i am sure they just get emails in and send the first automated response that is available:rolleyes:

Mate for Ebay is hopeless, they cant help you with anything. What they do are give us a huge fee, put some stupid rulez and all the help desk people they just read a scenario from the manager... all just rubish especially when dealt with chargeback fee from PAYPAL that is ridiculous, it happened to me twice.

LOL what a joke justin :( Ebay are a bunch of money hungry assholes!

Who was the seller? you should add their name to the blacklist
