As you know im desperate for money at the moment and i need as much as i can get, so im thinking with a few of the dengs i have i want it to be available to the US also, but im really not sure how to do it. Ive never had anything for sale to the US or bought anything through US ebay before, so i need some help on what i should know and how i should set it up.
Thanks guys please reply to this thread asap

Also do u think that is the best way to get as much money as i can to sell it to US ebay or isnt it worth the trouble, so i should just sell it on OZ ebay?
thanks again

Do the same thing as with ebay.com.au, but do it on ebay.com. You can list everything in USD and in the US categories.

That is assuming you are clicking the 'sell' links. I've had problems with Turbolister on US ebay

I've had similar problems to you dude, you need to have a paypal account that can accept money going into it. I have had to holde onto stuff that would do well in the states, because my paypal account doesn't accept cash. If you change it to accept money then it just cost you fees that are similar to ebay's seller fees. I'm sure some of the other guys who know more and have helped me in the past will respond to this thread.

Good luck!

Thanks lippo, but i want to know like what do i ask for to how to be paid? I dont have paypal. And also does it cost heaps to ship?
And does cards go for more on US Ebay?

International Money Orders cost $10 AUD to cash (for my bank).

Cards to the US is about $1aud + bubble mailer (charge $5us to the Americans like they do to us).

Depends what type of card it is, the Dengs will probably go for more.

I'll be straightforward.. unless you have low numbered autos of Deng, you won't get lots of money for those Dengs if you sell them on US ebay.

Try this first.. chuck a completed listings search on eBay international, and see how much your Dengs go for. Expect them to sell as much or less. Then you would also have less buyers if you cant accept paypal.

It's also better to list on .com.au then make it available worldwide because some buyers here get intimidated by the US$ on listings that are in australia. They don't bid on them for some reason.

If you ask me though, if youre selling non-autos, its better not to, as you wont get much at all.

And to add to that I think US buyers in general are also hesitant to buy off international sellers unless you have v.good feedback and it's something they really need...and even then that might not be enough!!
List on worldwide on .com.au if buyers are keen they'll find your items.
