Hey fellas,

Haven't really done a lot of stuff on ebay and was just wondering what steps you have to go through to deal with a non-paying (time wasting) bidder.

He's had 7 days to pay (as per auction terms) and hasn't responded to any messages.

Can I just relist or do I have to go through 'resolve a problem' first? Would it be appropriate to leave a 'negative comment' although positive feedback in this case?

Advice and tips much appreciated.

if he hasnt replied after 7 days then you need to go through the resolution centre. then after 5 days (might be less) you can close the case...
personally i would leave neutral feedback, with a poor comment.

yeah i have had this happen aswell
go through resolution 1st
then after a few days you can relist or offer 2nd chance
and as far as feedback i left none at all, just in case the noob left bad for me

Dwayne, you would go thru the resolution centre, its the only way to get a final value fee credit so you get your listing fees back. As to feedback, leave NONE at all, even a negative comment is a positive feedback for people who only look at the numbers.

yeah since you cant leave red feedback i wouldnt bother, flip side it would be handy for other sellers to know he doesnt pay

he could get a strike out of it from ebay which is enough

Thanks for the advice everyone, seems such a hassle for a relatively low value card.... Still, you gotta do what you gotta do!
