eBay Case Question

Hey guys,

I just got a 'cancel transaction' case opened on a two card lot I won, I haven't paid yet. (Link:2010 FUTERA Super Gold Heroes Maquez+Robben Unused - eBay (item 140467800960 end time Oct-26-10 03:43:22 PDT))

Apparently the sellers reason is, "Sorry! I sell the wrong card and i can't delete because you bid this card! Sorry!" I think his real reason is the extremely low ending price, for which he can thank his poor spelling. "Maquez" instead of the correct Marquez.

I suspect I won't be receiving the card whether I accept his cancellation request or not so the question is, is it in my best interest to accept or decline? Never had a problem like this before so any advice is appreciated!

accept, move on and use the money to buy yourself a taco or something nice.
he's obviously just a kid starting out with 1 card for sale, .99 cents would only buy him a small bowl of rice.
i'm sure he was hoping for a piece of chicken too so yeah, i'm sure you'll find another.

Hong Kong, have never dealt with anyone in Hong kONG is it safe generally or is it dodgy, just curios as i have found some cards i would like...

I think move on too. The reason is prob the end price. You'll pay, they won't send but say have, you'll file item not received and just get your money back, not worth it in the end methinks unless you wanna prove a point and neg

Agree, just move on. I was sceptical at first about dealing with anyone from Hong Kong, but all my dealings have been good so far and the ending prices are generally lower, probably because people are hesitant to deal with them.

I've dealt with a few other HK sellers and have never had any problems before now.

You can't leave feedback once you accept the cancel. He's probably doing it because of the end price, so you can choose not to accept it but it will probably just be a hassle. If you want to leave feedback you cannot accept the cancel.

That is really nothing you can do because you have not paid for anything yet. I have been caught before in such situation and Ebay does allow sellers to get away with it if they have some "technical reason" like the description of the item. Harden up and move on..... you might get a better deal the next time round.
