Ebay Businesses.. Little help!

Hey guys,
I'm thinking about starting an ebay business selling various sports cards..
I'm sure there is a few guys here that already do it. Im just looking for some input on what the ups and downs are.

Is it better busting boxes and selling inserts?
buying cases and selling off boxes??
or buying cases, selling off enough boxes to cover your initial payment and then busting the profit and selling off the inserts (hoping for a really good card or 2 obviously)

Any help would be awesome.. just an idea at the moment.

From what I have heard, I think most people would say do it in your spare time and if you don't make money off it don't be surprised, do it for the love of the hobby basically. I think ebay have structured the fee system such that you will struggle to turn a profit.
