Ebay Auction Snipers

Hey all im just wondering who here uses a sniper to bid on things, im wanting to use one but i am unsure of any websites that do that. Are they safe to use? Im not to sure about giving my ebay user name and password out to a website but any help would be much appreciated

There are quite a few out there.

I found a really good one that gave you 1 month of free snipes (but have since deleted the link after the month expired).

Other sniping sites give you x free credits/month or per week, but after that, you have to pay for them.

There are advantages to the pay snipers, you get your bid in later in the auction (closer to the end) rather than the freebie ones that bid about 10-6 seconds before the ending.

I use a freebie one, have only been outsniped once.

But then again, if your snipe isnt high enuff, and someone snipes the same time, and they're higher, they win.

For a buyer, it's the shit, but for a seller, it is shit!!!

Been using www.auctionsniper.com for a few years. You don't need to know anymore than that Chiller. All above board and well worth it.

another vote for auctionsniper. Had been using a free service, then it started charging so changed over to auctionsniper. Very nice interface and really good snipe it now button extension for firefox

Ive used these guys before and forgot I had an account until Chad reminded me the other night Works well, especially for Grandpas like me that cant stay up till midnight for an auction to end

I know a few people that use these services and they are good for what they are worth.

But in the end, if your bid ain't high enough, no amount of sniping programs is gonna win you an item you want. If you really want it, then have a higher bid. Simple as that.

All bidding does is push up the price. The real thing an auction sniper does is help keep a cap on bidding. People are emotional beings and prone to keep bidding if they think they are in danger of losing. With snipers they may or may not you are going to snipe but I can tell you these things save you lots of money.

This is my experience.

Before sniper, I put my bids on and when I get outbid, I'll bid again until the price is too much. Its also hard if the auctions will finish when you will not be around your PC.

Without the sniper, you may put your highest bid but most of the time buyers will try to outbud you and you still lose the auction. With sniper, the highest bidder at that time may think that their bid is safe until your snipe gets to work and it will be too late for them to outbid you...

Not all the time I win but if I win an auction using sniper, I would have got it cheaper than not using one. If you really like to win everything then raise set your snipes as high as you can Or just put thousands of $$$ on every card you snipe and see what happens

If you don't trust giving out your eBay ID & password (like me) then the best way to snipe is by actually being there when the auction ends. I have multiple windows open, 1 to refresh and one with my MAXIMUM bid ready to go That's how I do it If I still lose then I don't go over what I wanted to pay and I at least bumped it

i used to snipe a lot but not anymore. these days i simply enter the highest amount im willing to bid (taking into account postage costs and other completed ebay listings) and thats it. if someone bids higher good on them, they wanted it more than i did.

if i had a larger budget to play with, then yeah id probably snipe a lot more.

Same here J, the one thing that shits me to tears is (whether it be shillers) Ebay buyers who have no idea how to bid and keep increasing the bid amount by .50c etc after bidding 5 or more times. Just put in the most you want to pay and thats it.

Why don't ya just use a sniper to enter your highest bid?

Saves "pushing" the auction during it duration of listing.

I mean, if you put your bid with 6 days to go, and you are highest bidder at $0.99c then someone dropps a bid $2, pushes it to $2.50 and so on.....
Whereas if your sniper is set for X amount it will put it in (IF it's valid) and you will either win it lower than you could have (or you won't win as you'll be outbid).

Like I said, I can understand the whole "people want to bid up an auction" thing that these snipe programs help eleviate.

But you have just demonstrated my point excatly, you put in a bid, it wasn't high enough, so you bid again. Fine.
But your bid wasn't high enough, period. So you bidded again.
Snipe programs are fine for what they are worth, but if you don't bid high enough, you ain't gonna win squat with your snipe programs what so ever.

auctionsniper.com is all I use, saves me a heap of $$$. Been using them for about 8 months now, I use it at least 4 time a week and I can't beleive more people don't how can you go wrong or not trust them. Fade hanging around the compie all night, Get on people!!!!

LOL!!! Exactly what I was doing before I started using the sniper... Hahaha... Open multiple windows and refresh and it works.... But there was an ocassion where I keep on refreshing and my PC froze.... ... I have to re start PC and its too late...

With sniper, no worries, I win auctions a lot cheaper than without it...
