I few weeks ago (11/Nov) I bought 4 cards from the US - and they haven't arrived yet. What can I do. The seller is quite helpful, but we ran out of ideas.
Depends on the method they were sent - sometimes sellers from the US use the cheapest method which is surface or ground. This can take up to 3 months to arrive! Airmail is the most common method, and sometimes can take a while to arrive - anywhere from a couple of days up to a number of weeks. In fact I had an airmail parcel that took 8 months to arrive.
Find out what method the seller used and go from there.
how did he/she post it? global priority should not take more than 2 weeks, air mail can take up to 4. I have had airmail get to me in less than 5 days. I would start being concerned if you dont receive it in the next week.

I double checked and it was Airmail - as a crappy test, I bought some tooth brush heads and about 2 weeks ago, and they have already arrived. I trust the seller .... they have always replied to my questions, and have given me information.
How do i lodge a item not received with paypal ..... I'm new to this so any info would be great help.
log into paypal, click on the link that says "resolution center", lodge a claim, you will need the paypal transaction number thats given to ou after you pay (available on the receipt or in your history list in paypal), escalate it straight away.
I have had airmail take 8 weeks and I have had it take one week. And with xmas about to hit the mail system, who knows how long it could be stuck in the system.
i remember last year, parcels were turning up within a few days, or taking their sweet arse time - so its a bit up and down. As you are nearing the claim cut off time with paypal, best you read up on it, and lodged a claim, letter the seller know its not that you dont trust em, just want to cover yourself.

What do you mean cuttof time - is that 20days within logding complaint, as I haven't lodged a complaint yet - but i paid for it on 1-Nov....
PS. Notice on your signature u collect Admirals, do you have a double of the Famous Nickname, also check out my PC as I have 100 or so from my PC. Thnx!!!
you've got 45 days from time of purchase, its best to read up on the rules on paypal's website yourself, as then you can develop your own understanding...
it's best to lodge a complaint arund 30 days.. because the seller will be given 14 days to respond, and u got 45 days bracket... so once the seller doesn't respond or act something, usually u will get full refund minus some %%%.. that's what happened to me before..
the postage costs 0.84 cents and sometimes it takes a couple of weeks, sometimes one week, i dunno what's wrong with US sellers.. but i surely know i don't like buying from them much now..
so I've paid on 1-Nov, I lodged a complaint on the paypal resolution centre thing 13-Dec ... waiting for the seller to respond .... I updated the post on 16-Dec, should I escalate this now or wait?
I dont think they would have not sent the cards .... but then again, I did end up buying 200BV of MJ inserts and Shaq rookies for $8USD .... the seller has a 100% flawless rating (about 50 or so stars) .... just back luck hey?
Another question - this is the response from the seller of the cards:
"How is the seller protected from something like this? I state in my auction that we are not liable for damaged or lost things shipped if the buyer does not pay for insurance. What are we to do from here? Id like to put this to rest so please advise me what next. Thanks....have a great day!"
I read that paypal protects buyers with upto $1000 of insurance? Is that correct? My reply was going to be
"There is no need for me to purchase additional insurance as paypal states that buyers are protected with upto $1000 insurance on purchases". Does that sound right?

Who's the seller. When I started out I brought off a seller with 100% feedback and never received a thing for a huge lot of hakeems. Maybe he doesn't like to sent to Aus.
Also Check his listings and feedback and see if he hasn't tried to re sell them.
