Hi,

Hello,
I'm sorry to say that the card I won from you is not Mint condition as advertised. The 2000 Greats of the Game Darrell Evans Auto Autograph Item number: 110157407384 has a gash on the left side of the card and its overall conditrion is Ex-Mt. If I knew this in advance I would not have made the purchase. Please help to rectify this matter. Thanks so much.

I swear the card was mint when i sent it.....What would you guys do?
it is a $1 sale and I really dont want a neg feedback on this sale......
well, u can give refund.. but must ask for positive feedback... but the postage is his own cost... coz there are many lousy buyers out there and not worth negative feedback.
it's just $1 card and i can't believe he's grading the card himself like BGS
"I am happy to provide you with a refund, even though I maintain the card left me in mint condition. I would appreciate if you could leave positive feedback about this. I will send the refund after you have left positive feedback regarding this transaction."
I just had to put an unpaying bidders strick against a bloke over $1.49, he bid and won the card, I sent the invoice as normal, with contact me within 3 days of the end of auction, all cards to be paid for within 5 days of end of auction. After 5 days contacted and said to contact me within 48Hrs or I would report an unpaid item, 72 Hrs later I reported an unpaid item and then got an abusive email telling me as I was not based in AUS it was to hard to pay without paypal. All WRONG based in Victoria, offered to resend invoice and no response for 3 days so he now has an unpaid item strike on his record, so I have sympathy for you as these people can spoil an otherwise great spot for buying and selling. P.S bloke had 100% feedback on 90 odd transactions, why stuff that up over $1.49

Any chance you still have a scan of the card? The Ebay picture is not real clear, and rather hard to see the edges.
I'd be asking for a scan back also, to check it out.
If you grant the refund straight away, there's a chance the buyer may think that you had already known it's condition, and are awarding a refund to "shut them up".

Mint means flaweless pretty much or at least MINT does. I wouldn't imply that in any of your auctions from now on anyway as such claims are 90% of the time false no matter what you may think. The standard NrMt is a much better way of listing cards.
All this over $1. What a great way to get a free card ;-)
Hope it works out well for you. This is why I don't sell on ebay - I am worried about either the postal service doing damage, or the card going missing, or some guy just lying through his teeth and doing a chargeback and me losing the card and the money
I contemplated listing my Kobe Bryant but too many horror stories -- hope this one is sorted out satisfactorily.... but I too agree would have asked for a scan....
