Ok first up i hope i dont offend any one on here.
I think the guys that i know of that purchased some of my cards were looked after when it came to invoice time.
But this rant is about the things people ask after a auction has ended and they have won the item.
First question i got.
Someone had won 3 items off me all for Between $10-15 total. each card had $4.00 postage.
Now after winning all the cards they send me a message saying please combine postage on my multiple wins.
Is it just me or WTF has happened to common courtesy.
With all my ebay deals i ask Can you post to Aust? Can you do combined postage on multiple wins and so on before the auction has ended.
Second one i got, after item was finished and i had sent the invoice
I live in Adelaide can i pick the item up, again WTF why could you not ask this before the auction was finished
and before i had sent the invoice which included postage.
Now dont get me wrong im not a grumpy man, and i still did what these guys wanted but come on
Fair is fair isn't it?
Yeah, pretty poor form from the buyers. I find that our hobby unearths some major nut jobs anyway!!
The quality of people here on OCT is spot on, however - when it comes to The Dirty Dollar...Ebay wins hands down, regardless of listing fees etc 7.87 times outta 10 you will get better $$ on the Bay. I like OCT for the banter but have to admit it's pretty hard to find anything for my PC which is mildly disappointing..I guess it's to be expected when you collect Seattle's answer to Fat Albert
Anyways going off on a tangent there.... Matt, will keep an eye on your listings and buy something just to annoy you with dumb question afterwards Better buyer mojo to ya bro!!
lol. i had one not long ago. i made an offer on a card of x amount, and the seller sent me a counter offer of x+y amount (which was **** all higher than my first offer)
so i go into the screen to accept his counter offer, and the, mind my language, **** has sold the card for under my inital offer, and his counter offer within 20 seconds of sending me a counteroffer.
i send him a quick email asking WTF, and his response is; "sorry mate, the other guy send me a better offer"
i tell him that 'a quick completed listing search reveals your a lying dropkick'
no response. he lucky it wasnt a harden card i needed, otherwise he was getting the kitchen sink..

Lol man i reckon i might have a few sips of courage and grow some mighty Kahoonas and tell these cheeze eating weazels where to go.
Yeah man if you want to bid on some of my auctions my ebay Id is (IdOntF****nComBInEPosTaGe).com.au.Joking.Haha
Jared - Where did you get the photo of the CHOGM toilet??? That's exactly how Queen Lizzy left it after a night on the turps with us in Perth!!! One does not scrub one's skidmarks FYI - A royal after grog bog is no more regal than yours or mine
nah i dint put i combine postage in my auction but yeah i probably would have done it, but just p!ssed that they asked after.
But what if i took 2 dollars of my starting price to attract bids but handballed it over to my postage charge and then it sells for my starting price
then they ask for combined postage? Guess i loose out. It was seriously like the dude just expected it to be done
To be honest mate, if its not stated in the auction i dont have to do it, and i really dont care about my gold stars on Ebay.
I always try to buy multiple cards off of the same people but i ask first if they combine postage.
In my deals on OZCT i jam as many cards as i can into those bubble mailers.
But Ebay is a different world

I really don't see what the big deal is TBH...... so what if they asked AFTER the auctions had finished, was it really that much of a hassle!?
Secondly...... yes it's your right not to combine postage, HOWEVER, if you don't offer it to the buyer then you damned well better send the items individually. If I buy off someone that won't combine postage and then sends them combined after charging me full postage on each one then it's NEG time for them.
