we felt it here in Moe pretty bad. I was in bed getting some sleep befpre i went to work tonight and things were falling off the walls and shelfs. I heard it was around korumburra area and was 4.something felt alot bigger than that.
worse thing was i was in bed trying to sleep before work and when it was happening i could hear stuff hitting the roof only to realise iit was the chimey cracking up right above my head. It was still moving when i got outside which took me about 1.7 seconds...lol Coulda caused a real headache for me haha

A large earthquake occurred approximately 120 kilometres southeast of Melbourne, about 10km northwest of the town of Budgeree. This earthquake was felt across Melbourne, with reports from as far west as Bendigo, and unconfirmed reports of it being felt as far north as Sydney. If you felt this earthquake, please fill out an intensity report, particularly if you were at a significant distance from the epicentre. There were dozens of aftershocks in the hours following this earthquake, expected to continue for some weeks or months. This is the largest earthquake in Victoria in over 100 years - since the estimated magnitude 5.6 Warnambool earthquake in 1903.
