Now that the raucous, headline-generating 2018 NFL Draft is in the rearview, most football collectors are turning their attention to the many collectible properties in Panini America’s rookie-laden products ahead. But a “select” few collectors are going back in time a few months to a product from last year — 2017 Select Football — to see how their 2017 Select Football XRC Redemptions and XRC Mystery Autograph Redemptions turned out. Today, we’re going to let you know.
Inserted at a rate of roughly three per case, 2017 Select Football’s XRCs were inserted for unsigned versions of special Select cards featuring the top five QBs, top five RBs, top five WRs and top five TEs selected in the 2018 NFL Draft; in addition, cards were inserted for autograph versions of the top five overall picks. Now that we know who went where, we can reveal the checklist.
