And then you come into work to find out you no longer have a job. This just happened to me, even better that I've spent more money on cards this week then I have in the last 6 months . Even worse is that my wife can't work because the Australian government still hasn't granted her a partner visa after 7 months of waiting. Looks like I'll be selling up all my cards and collectibles.

Anyway, just felt like writing this down before I rage

As much as loosing your job sucks it also opens up new opportunities. From memory you were not feeling too good about working where you did after those hold ups so i'd look at it as a good time to start doing something you really enjoy

Mate, I am sort of going through the same thing - however in this instance I resigned from my job and finish as a permanent staffer on Thursday 28th Feb.....will have at least two weeks as a casual though. My mantra is "apply, apply, apply" - if the attitude remains positive, opportunities will open up
