Hope everyone has had a great weekend.
Done and done!! No, not with the hobby (I'm having way too much fun) but I am done with a couple of set chases with the last few needs coming in last week so thought I would share. Also had a huge pickup arrive much sooner than expected so perfect time for a mailday post.
First up is this 20 card gold set from 2003/04. The standard set was released as a boxset with every box containing one of these gold cards.
From an early set to a current one - 2011 All Time Greats. Great looking set in general with bigger name players in highschool / college uniforms. Picked up the 20 Lebrons out of the set with each numbered to 50. I have no idea why they put those rubbish setup pics of Lebron in there. Should have just stuck with the SVSM photos.
Following on from the above I thought I would chase the spectrum release with each card numbered to 5. Got 75% so far which is more than I ever expected. Might actually be able to complete it.
If anyone has busted any of the All Time Greats product and still have the tins it would be great if we could work something out. I'm after 3 tins to store these mini sets in.
I just can't get enough of these. Amazing in hand!!
Now onto the big pickup. Only took about 12 days to come over from the states and wasn't expecting it to arrive for another week or 2. Honestly didn't think I would get my hands on one of these as there was never an official release and I had never seen one. Anyway, I received a message from another collector who had come across my site and knew of a place in Ohio that had this item. Not only did the guy get me the contact details but went into the store to word the owner up. It is things like this that makes this hobby so great!!

Here it is.... Lebron All-American highschool All-Star jersey. UDA all the way!! Turns out the guy I got it off was an Upperdeck reseller and as part of that he was able to send in a few items for signing!!
