Shouldn't be going anywhere Cronulla turned him into a Australian player when he left Newcastle as a fringe first grade player but now he is one of the best young front rowers around they want him back but he wanted to stay at cronulla but the fat man tinkler offered him way too much cash

It's never about the cash.... One day a player will turn around and say, yeah not a fan of the team or the area but when they offered me a $hit load of money, i took it and thats that, its all about the money...
the thing is, if you listen to the reports, cronulla actually offered him more per year. So there you go. And hey if im getting a longer contract AND its my hometown, where I grew up. I think I know where im going
all i remember is him saying this
I'm old school," Snowden said. "I am all about loyalty and respect. That is the way I was brought up. I love Cronulla and all the boys are my best mates. Loyalty means a lot to me."
Bad luck on Kade Sharkies fans but Knights have Tafua, Kafusi and Patterson available if you want them. Newcastle has a pretty good history of letting players and juniors go that then all of a sudden start playing well.
Maybe you should have used those players in the first place instead of buying Snowden, then!
Paterson and Kaufusi don't do much, but Taufua would be a great pick-up for any side - I can't believe we're shopping him around.
All this whinging about Snowden leaving is a bit pathetic - he's a young guy and entitled to go back home for less money and a shorter contract, if he wants.
He can go where ever he likes, but if you think he has taken much of a cut from the $400,000 that was quoted your mistaken, but hey i don't blame him for leaving going back home on good money, who wouldn't, the career is generally a maximum 10 years, so got make he most of it...
Cronulla bought snowden for the 2008 season when he was unwanted by newcastle now he is one of the best young front rowers in the game newcastle came crawling back he had all but agreeded to terms at cronulla before tinkler rang him

My point is its fine to let your juniors go but when they hit there straps you want them back
in the end good luck to kade he wants to be close to his family

To be fair I think it was Smith the coach who didnt want him, though I agree with you, newcastle definitely did come crawling back into it. Just hopefully he can put it all past him, and keep having a good season for you sharkies =]. Think most people are sympathetic with the home thing!
