Does anyone know Shaun (aka smc2910)

Just wondering if anyone personally knows Shaun, I have been trying to get in contact with him about a purchase made but I have had no luck. I am worried that something is wrong or he is ill / away as it seems unlikely that he would intentionally not send cards.

If you know him, pls just check everything is ok and if so, ask that he get in touch.

I have had plenty of patience, I have also field questions on Scoundral, guys in the US waiting on cards, getting to a stage where they are going to lodge PAYPAL claims / neg feedback. I have suggested something might be up and there must, of course, be a good reason............I just hope everything is OK.

Wow, was just wondering last night what had happened to Shaun.

Didn't something like this happen before when he was not on line for a while and it was because he had moved and had no internet connection.

seems as if still no word. In future is might be a good idea if mods get a contact number from people when they sign up, just in case we get a situation like this. I mean we are dealing with money and products here afterall. However I really hope Shaun is ok because this is very unlike him and he is one of our most esteemed members of the forum!

No nothin...............been a month, I have given it up as a bad joke, this is the 3rd time I have not received moderate to high end cards, well no more for this fella

Understandable reaction, but sit tight, Shaun is trustworthy and if he is crook he will get back to you. If its very serious then I am sure your negative feedback will be the least of his worries.

In my opinion, unless someone is pointing a gun in your head to not let you go online, there is no reason to not honour deals that has already been made. I don't care what kind of internet problems he has, it is still possible to find an internet access point to simply log on and answer some PMs to not leave people hanging. To me, it is a good indication that the promises he made online meant very little to him. For me, the only acceptable reasons are:

1) He passed away.
2) He hurt himself bad and has been in hospital.
3) He lost him mind and has been committed to a mental asylum.
4) He has committed a crime and was locked up.

I wish him well as a person and hope that none of the reasons above apply to him. But if he is alive and well, I think he needs to come forward and apologize (to say the least) to the people (that he has active deals with) on this forum.

Sorry Darren but I disagree, he is not trustworthy in my opinion.

Well said, it is a sad fact of life that people break there word. What I have learnt from this is that from now on if I do a deal on a moderate to high end card I will NOT send the funds until I get the card in my hands. People may disagree with this COA but sh!t happens, I am sick and tired of paying for good cards are just bending over to take it up the proverbial and having people come back at me saying, its OK, he's a good bloke, well good people do bad things also.

You might be right. I hope not. I just hope it isnt a case of thinking that the worst things always happen to you because you lost a few dollars, when the worst may have happened to him.

I guess my point of view is that I wouldnt screw anyone, but if I died or was incapacitated somehow I would hope that my name wasnt tarnished.
