He recently filed a chargeback then immediately escalated to a claim on a Steve Nash SPGU All-Star Patch he won from me. Here is the scan of the card:

Its #09/75.

He filed the chargeback and escalated prior to even contacting me, then after it was open I tried talking with him and all he replied back with was "I didnt get the card yet" then he just won the dispute today by default.

I have a gut feeling, a 99% gut feeling, that he either got the card already, or didnt get it yet but will shortly and now has the money and intends to keep both either way.

Just wanted to give a heads up and hopefully prevent anyone else from being ripped off by this guy!:fist:

I've sold some soccer cards to him in the past. But that was outside of eBay.
IIRC he seemed like a great guy to deal with

This time of year post can be back logged and take longer then usual to deliver cards as I have been waiting 11days for some signed rabbitohs cards I got on ebay and all the dispute action with posties would not help the situation.Hope he does the right thing if he gets the card and sends it back but probably not.Good luck.

Why didn't you use Registered Post?, if your sending a card which is valuable, registerr it, it covers you and he has to sign for it..

good advice I now send all my cards sold on ebay registered as you can track your package any problems & your backside is covered as you know where oyur package is and if it has been delivered.If its a top end card insure it & tick the person to person box that way you know the person who brought the card received the card,no chance of a dispute or you losing a dispute when you have the proof they received the card.

Just have to read the paypal rules to cover off the dispute process, if you send via normal post its a lucky dip, if you send via registered and keep proof then your covered by Paypal. I think there is 45days to lodge a claim or else it becomes void.
