Does anyone know anything about these vintage footy cards

Would love some info on this set of 1962 Geelong coca cola cards
Ie value, how rare are they, was there other teams aswell I can't find anything about them

I googled Geelong 1962 coca cola and came up with this...

Sold for $1769! (in 2013)
Geelong won the premiership in 1963...so that helps. Coca Cola collectors may also have interest.

I did see both of them but couldn't work out why there is so much price difference and where would be the best place to tell me the right price and wanted to know did they only bring them out in Geelong or other teams aswell

As far as the selling goes, I would try Gumtree or "Buy, Swap and Sell" in the Geelong Advertiser, or even David at www.footycards.com.au who also has older cards in stock.

The set is more valuable if the cards are not stuck down in the album - which is why the ebay sportmem price was high. Still, your cards look pretty fresh and it's a pretty rare set. There were 3 (I think) Coca Cola sets from that era, and only Geelong, no other team.
