ive done 2 so far, one for my wife first, she collects jim shore disney statues first time around i didnt really look at the instructions and struggled, but second time around a year later didnt need the instructions, it was real simple. i have a feeling i may have been having a bad day when i assembled that first one!
This is my little Bogut Exquisite shrine. The unit itself is a cheap fantastic furniture jobbie that cost $99. The tiering is very possibly the tackiest effort of all time; there's cut up shoe boxes, large sandwich bag boxes, top loaders and decoy cards for ballast in there. But, for now, it works. I'd love some Perspex tiering or similar, so the light will bounce around and through it for a better-lit display. I've gotta get some battery-powered lighting too - the cards up the back are real dark in anything but daylight. Note the two lucite holders at the front in an anticipatory position
These Ikea cabinets look really cool set up, well done lads!!!
I used to use a home-made book shelf, pretty boring really, compared to these glass jobs! My brother and I did recently build a wall-mounted DVD shelving unit, so this could be our next venture! lol.
