Did I get dudded???

I was just going through some boxes of cards and noticed I have two MJ coast to coast cards. Not unusual
for me to double up on cards.....BUT! Then I noticed something odd, one of them was a refractor. Or was it?
one card is topps chrome the other topps. Check them out.

Topps put out 2 different series every year, Topps and Topps Chrome .

There are also Refractors from Topps Chrome, it will say above/below number on the back.
