In early January, Panini America’s collegiate basketball quartet will be completed. Following on the hot heels of Contenders Draft Picks Basketball, Black Gold Collegiate Basketball and Immaculate Collegiate Basketball, comes the January 4 release of 2016 National Treasures Collegiate Basketball, a product tailor-made for the high-end hoops collector.
The product features short-printed, serial-numbered cards of NBA rookies, superstars and legends and a vast array of premium autographs and memorabilia. On average, each eight-card box of 2016 National Treasures Collegiate Basketball will deliver six autograph or memorabilia cards and two base or parallel cards. The highlights of the product are many and include . . .
- On-card rookie autographs in the Material Signatures, Colossal Signatures and Signature Die-Cuts inserts.
- New this year are Brand Logo Duals, Combo Team Logos and Team Slogan booklets.
- Notable Nicknames features inscriptions from college basketball icons.
- College Basketball Materials Signatures features spectacular on-card autographs coupled with a prime swatch from this year’s top rookies. Look for Brand Logo versions numbered to only two.
- The 45-card base set is numbered to 99 and showcases the NBA’s best players from their collegiate days with Silver, Gold, Black and Blue parallels numbered from 25 all the way down to one.
- Combo Player Signature Prime Booklets feature booklet cards combining an autograph and prime memorabilia piece from this year’s top rookies.
- Find game-worn college memorabilia from the likes of Kevin Durant, Kevin Love, Jason Kidd, Russell Westbrook, Willie Cauley-Stein, Rakeem Christmas, Tony Gwynn, Terry Rozier, Tyreke Evans and more.
- Team Quads includes player-worn college memorabilia of four superstars or four college stars from the same university. Prime versions are numbered to 10.
- The 12-card Signatures insert features autographs from the likes of the “Big O,” numbered to 25 or less with Printing Plate versions numbered to only one.
