What do Chicago fans think? Did he not express something effectively he was thinkig? Or was it as it sounds, his heart isn't any more if he is thinking PAST all the basketball and about how he will WALK in 20 years???
I'm with Charles on this one.
Would hate to be a Bulls fan and rely on this guy smh
I'm gonna give him benefit of the doubt. From following the league for so long, I've learned a lot of young players poorly word a lot of responses to questions posed to them by the media. And the flip side of this is that experience is something you don't have until right after you need it.
I think asked the question again, he'd no doubt reword it to be the "sitting out to help win a championship, but it will also benefit me long term" scenario.
I don't blame Rose for thinking future longevity. Too often we are robbed of superstars due to injuries..Penny, Hill, Nash, McGrady, Steve Francis, Brandon Roy etc. If he ends up like them just because he rushed his comeback, it would be a tragedy. On a separate note, Westbrook was ridiculously good in his comeback! Makes Rose look like a chump unfortunately..
Yeah but.....give me $90. Million. dollars...... Take my knees. Just take them both.
He's happy to take thelong term contract then say he has to think about life after basketball. Disgusting.
I'm not giving him the benefit of the doubt because he did Another interview saying that he would word it a bit differently but not the essence of it and he doesn't give a damn what people think about what he said he was just being himself.
There's a difference between Nash saying it and Rose saying it.
I think I'm more annoyed at it than I should be lol
