Deron Williams prefers 2 - NETS OR MAVS?

that stinks...dont wont him making the mavs any better, if he stays in brooklyn with lopez healthy and they can attract a few good free agents/veteran players, they could be an ok team, especially if they keep mr kardasian oops i mean ex...i like the rumour of bynum/sessions for dwill and lopez, would work nicely for the lakers...

I'd be happy for him to team up with Dwight on just about any team. :D

Nets - will depend on what happens in FA and/or trades. Don't want him sticking with NJ with the current sorry bunch and having no FRDP. Dallas isn't a bad option though. :)

He's a great point guard and the Mavs will definitely become a top 3 team to beat in the west if he goes there. But he might re-sign with the Nets and wait for Dwight to join him there. :)

I can't see him staying in Brooklyn when Wallace is opting out, and Humphries as FA, the Nets will be rather slim next year!

Come to Big D, we'll re-sign Kidd and Jet, as well as add another piece or two!

Hope he stays, also if we can get some more pieces to build around Deron and Marshon be awesome..

I also love some of our role players, Morrow,Sheldon Williams, Green etc... just need a couple more nice pieces.

Not a fan of Brook Lopez really.. too soft, need a Bynum, Millsap, Chandler type force.

Dwight coming over would be amazing.. end that stupid saga of his.

Trouble is Green is a UFA, and I'm sure he's gonna get some decent offers come his way. ;)

I like Lopez, but at the same time I agree, he's too soft and his rebounding numbers are atrocious lol.. good rebounding PG's can rebound as much as him lmao

you mean old?

Yeah. He's been around awhile. Same year as Vince and Jamison and they're both past it, Dirk can't be that far behind can he!?

Dirk's only 34. Turned the new page only 6 days ago. He averaged 21.6ppg, 6.7rpg and 33.5mpg this season.

A bit less that some of his previous years, but he's still no slouch. Tim Duncan is still killing it, but he only managed 15.4ppg, 9rpg in 28.2mpg. Still the best scoring big man in the league!

I like how you say "only 34" lol

Sure he can play more than a couple more years, but meant that he's probably only got a couple more years left at his level. Hopefully last year wasn't the start of a downward spiral.

The reality is this:

- Deron is 28yrs old, is a quality NBA talent, quick, explosive, can pass, shoot, create his own shot anytime he wants and he knows either way he is gonna get a big pay day, so his options are as follows...
- Stay with the Nets as they are... playing ball in the basketball mecca of New York, crap team as it is probably not going anywhere anytime soon, once this contract expires get traded to a contender and try to get a ring
- Stay with Nets and Dwight Howard gets traded there soon... then they ad some bits and really try to contend properly for the foreseeable future - question is how patient is he?
- Sign with Dallas as a FA and join an aging Dirk & Co for 1-2 more tilts at a ring and then stay as the main piece that gets built around once Dirk hangs em up

Truth be told while they are currently horrible, I reckon Brooklyn will be a great place to be... energetic and rich new owner wanting to make a mark on the NBA, brand spanking new facilities, fresh new brand & image, playing in NY, and likely to have heaps of cap room for free agents to help make them better

Dwight doesn't need to get traded there, his contract is up at seasons end so Dwight could sign there as a FA the following season.

Well the Desicion will be Made Friday basically!

If Dallas draft Kendall Marshall than it will be high unlikely Deron will go to Dallas
