Well high on the agenda for everyone here, I'm sure we are all wrapped with the signing of David Patrick @ LSU. Truth being told many of you probably don't even know who he is.
David Patrick is an American, who came to Australia as an import ot play in the NBL, however his bigger impact on Australian basketbal has been since he moved back the states. He worked as a scout for the Houston Rockets, and then even more importantly as an assistant at the ST. Mary Gaels, since 2006. IN his time at St Mary's (along with head coach Randy Bennett) they have developed a culture of recruiting Aussies to their college. Starting with Adam Caporn in 2001, then Mills in 06.
