Another sucker bites the dust against the Green Machine. Seriously i would be angry as hell too if i paid $59 minimum to watch somebody (who was over the the scales at the weigh in by the way) drop like a sack of potatoes.

"No one is as pissed off as me, believe me. He ain't even a canine," Green said of Briggs. "Paul Briggs (isn't) getting paid a cent. I apologise to you for his behalf. I can't say anymore. I'm feeling very, very angry. I'm a class above the guy you saw just then."

I love how he came out before the Match (Green) and said he wanted to fight Brock Lesnar in a cage haha that takes balls.
 
I can't believe people bother watching Green fights. He fights nothing but washed up bums and thats why nobody outside of Australia rates him. Fights like this are bad for boxing in Australia. Danny Green is a joke.
 
Betting agencies were saying on radio this morning that normally they hold up to $20k on picking the round when the fight will stop...on last nights fight they were holding up to $1m for a 1st or 2nd round KO, spread across multiple agencies. Odds came in on betfair from 15/1 into odds on.

To paraphrase Carlton's theme this year...can you smell what they were cooking?
 
Yeah just a farce really. I mean it wasnt like it was a solid shot, it was nothing more then a glancing blow. Terrible.
 
Briggs was all talk ! What else can Danny do besides look for what he hopes will be more than someone looking for an easy payday :mad: I think Danny should take briggs on in a cage match just to teach him a few manners and a lesson regarding a P weak dive. Sadly I passed up free tickets to the fight knowing that all the decent boxers are running scared of the green machine
 
I've waited ages to go to a Danny Green fight and left very disappointed. At least a couple of the other fights on the card were decent.

I am a Danny Green fan, but he is going to have to start fighting decent fighters or else he may as well retire again.

I was a little disappointed he didn't take Shane Cameron's offer right then and there although Cameron didn't look himself either in that division, but I am sure he will improve.
 
They commented it on teams afl tonight looks like there will be some legal action from the bookies. Maybe the scammers paid fatty off in cheeseburgers
 
Danny needs to go to the US to get a good fight, no one worth fighting is gonna come here to fight him. He needs to gain some rep points in the States then he will draw the big fighters. He should also forget about Mundine cause it aint never gonna happen again, which sucks cause i would love to see him wipe the floor with "the Man" .
 
If Green was really so pissed, he should refund their money back, Since he won't give Briggs his money either, will Green keep that as well?...

Well, he isn't pissed any more, since he came out and stated he watched the footage and realised he did hit Briggs. So no refunds for the fans and Briggs will get his money.
 
i dont think green had anything to do with this one....... he thought he would have had a decent but winnable fight with briggs...... briggs is the one who took the dive dont forget that
