Constantly hoping that UPS might get cards delivered to me at a convenient time, seems more and more like a pipe dream.
Yesterday I was at work trying to get them to deliver a box to me there, rather than to my home address. But oh no, says UPS, you can't arrange a different delivery address until they've tried and failed the first time. Why!?!?!
Then, in checking my order, the guy on the phone tells me the cards will be delivered "tomorrow" (Friday). I try and tell him this doesn't sound right as, according to the tracking site, the package was released for delivery Wednesday night, but he insists he is correct.
So Friday morning I wake up and check the tracking site, and discover that there was a problem with the delivery on THURSDAY AFTERNOON
because they had the wrong apartment number.
Now I haven't moved since the last six deliveries arrived successfully, and the address was exactly the same on the tracking info.
After an excruciating conversation with a woman at UPS this morning, who read the address out incorrectly no less than three times, they have finally decided to reschedule the delivery. When? I'll get a call, apparently.
Having second thoughts about running a trading card business from home if my main supplier in the US won't ship anywhere but my billing address, and UPS can't seem to find an apartment they've been to six times already...
