Saturday morning at my girlfriends place I was awoken to the sound of a car tearing around the neighbourhood, burnouts, and it sounded like it was on a reserve or oval. At 6:30 in the morning all I was thinking was "shut the @#%$ up! I'm trying to sleep!" then at 7 her mum came in and said "Matt I think your cars been stolen" Well after driving around and then walking through the parks tracing all the tyre marks we finally found my car. It was my daily run about to work and back and now I'm kind of stranded, being at Uni doesnt help! Bastards!
Thats unbelieveable! Something like that happened to my best mate when we were at uni, although it wasn't burnt out afterwards. That sucks man, good luck with sorting it out..
Its just hard to comprehend how they can do that without thinking "Gee Im a prize knob, someone won't be able to get to work, or relies on that car alot" I know I could never do that to someones property.
That sucks mate, I feel your pain, perhaps not the same level... but thieves have interfered in my life too, so I do understand on that level. real sorry mate.
always a shit of a thing to have had happen.. ive only been broken into 3 times (my car) and thats shat me enough.. i couldnt imagine what it'd be like to have that happen..
To quote Clerks - "Bunch of f@#*in' savages in this town, man!!"
To quote Pulp Fiction -
Vincent - "It's chicken shit. You don't f@#* with another man's vehicle.
Lance - YOU DON'T DO IT.
Sorry about the car man....am I getting old and grumpy or do (some) people have less respect for other people's property nowadays??
Its not the car from the "car" thread which was my pride and joy Nissan. This was only my old Toyota Carona, it was probably worth $500, but it got me to work, uni and I could park it anywhere usually without worrying! Its just so low!
Happened in paradise funnily enough. ALthough her house is opposite a park and reserve which leaves thieves with an easy getaway if they attempt and get interrupted.
