So my first encounter with Panini and with a redemption, was only a cheap one - Devin Ebanks, but it has arrived damaged. The card is from the Playoff Contenders Rookie Ticket set, and therefore I do need the card for my set chase.
Now when I say damage, there is a slight crease in the card where the Auto would have been inserted. So I am just wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar problem, and what the best way to deal with this is?

Well that sucks balls! I just received my redemption for #184 and I am no longer collecting the set, so I was going to say the EASIEST option would be to pm me your address and you can have mine!
But because it isn't, I think all you can do is email Panini and tell them about it and ask them to send you a new one. I would include in the email a picture of the damage and state that because you are in Aus, it would cost more than what the card is worth in postage. They MAY be willing to send you another one without you returning that one because it is a low end card.
If they say you have to send it back, tell them you want another card to recover the postage cost!!
The new CS team is good at Panini (hence the 1 million Contenders Patches that have just been redeemed) so they should be helpful on the email! Not sure the exact email address, but if you look for a post by Rhys (Quicksilver), he has it in his signature
