damaged cards

Hi, I at my wits end.
I sent a card through a trade and the card came damaged, I spoke to the trader and
they agreed to send me some new cards that we agreed on. The trader said he sent them in late July but I never got them. The trader said it`s Auspost`s fault, I spoke to Auspost and they can`t find any items addressed to me in the site where it was dispatched from or would have traveled through. I have tried contacted the trader lately but get no reply. what should I do?
