hey Guys with this PIP bizzo i personally think 80% pip is way to much, but in saying that with so many good teams and players in the league theres gonna be some games where 80% pip is gonna happen. (including a few from myself, and im not a cheeser by any means)

just because u score 80% + pip dosnt mean ure cheesing....

what is a problem is when multiple complaints are coming to me about the same person scoring pip, as this tells me there xploiting..hasnt happend yet but could be a possible prob in the future, so all i ask is to play the game in a fun manner, to stop complaints coming in. meaning no cheese

to combat PIP easily being scored, i will change the sliders to make it just a little harder to score inside..
not much more

the reset and play again rule will be enforced in sheer cases of cheesing

and Jimbo if u where cheesing ben that bad im sure he wouldve lost by a bigger margin ...

players that have been found to have xcessive pip, game after game will be dealt with...

with so many good teams and players, im sure some people r gonna find it hard to take a loss on the chin...

jimbo ill get back to ben and let him know the game will stand..

also jimbo or arzbar, how do u save replays in a game? do u just watch them or do have to save them into the 2k reel section???

also the NY Knicks owner is looking for games as hes new to this league thing, played him b4 and hes pretty good

guys the portland owner was kickd and suns owner quit, so ive currently got 2 spots open, ive sent invites out and im waiting for a response, pretty confidant some1 will snap them up, but if u know some1 thats keen to play they can add me on the psn - Zelmeister

Hey Zel can you drop me from the league please, im sure someone else would love to play with my team but im finding it hard to enjoy the game atm. Of the last 3 games i've played i've been up then when the pressure is on the other team without fail goes to the run around and drive play which i strongly disagree with so instead of me playing against my will and having to put up with it i'd like to forfeit my spot in the league.

Sorry guys but i refuse to play against players who can't play a fair game!

dont know why but all the players in this league are from the others, surely 1 outta 20 guys cheesing cant be that bad.
only thing i can do is change sliders to make it harder to score but then that dosnt please everyone either, running a leagues hard work man, geeeez.. but no probs verse if u want out just quit and ill find some1 else no probs....

verse dosnt havnt anything 2 do with u losing 5 from 6 does it ???? didnt think so...

Yeah mate i'll hold them till you find someone else no probs. It just seems every game i play these days online people exploit the game in their favour instead of playing a fair all 'round game. The best games i've ever played were against some of the boys in S1 namely Vivo/Digeze/Nenjabin i never tire of playing against guys like them as even when they are loosing they dont revert to dodgy tactics to get a win they just play the way they always did but harder!

Anyway as i said i'll hold them till you get a replacement i don't want to make it hard on you Zel as i know it'd be a job running the league

*Edit* its not just the players in your league Zel there are plenty of them in the Aus NZ league too. I guess i've just had enough of it as i've put up with them for that league now i have to do it again.

no probs verse i know where u coming from, ive had my fare share of cheezy playerz 2. dont know why but i asked most of the regular oct guys like digeze, nenjabin etc and they didnt wnt to join this league so had to look elsewhere and thats where it gets hard to find decent guys..

some guys didnt join as they where worried the teams might be like all star teams due to only having 20 teams in it.
guess they where right, but not as bad as it looks i think. plus getting 30 players would have taken a while to find specialy decent ones as i was only trying to find players from asia & Oz n Nz..

well if u change ure mind lmk would be good if u could stay in

yeh nick i defs agree, the oct guys are the best to play!
gids and a few ither non oct guys are pretty good but some are just annoying!

also zel, when u finish the game go to games stats and it will have game reel (or smofin liek that name)
search for your place and click l3 and upload
then show it off to everyone xD

hey fellas, Ive left the league and I posted the reason on the 2k site. Seen as my post has gone missing, I found you guys here and I will repost it here.

"Without further ado, after one game, the LA Clippers manager has resigned.

After a relatively clean start to the game, where both sides were even. The better side, the Bulls started pulling away in the third quarter and never looked back.

There are several reasons I am leaving the league, but the biggest reason is just bad sportsmanship. With the scores relatively even, the Bulls started intentionally fouling late in the first half. For no apparent reason. He tried to steal 9/10 inbound passes. Some may not consider this cheesing, but I do.

Every second, of every single timeout was used by the Bulls. Now that's great, and they are well within their rights to do that, and make tactical adjustments. It's not something I would do, because I like to have a flowing game. However, when your opponent pauses the game every time he gets the ball to check statistics, it ruins the gaming experience.

When a team is leading by 30 odd points in the final quarter with 30 seconds to go, you would think that they would run the clock out and be happy with the result. But still the Bulls were unsportsmanlike. Intentionally fouling the Clippers at every opportunity. I have no idea why this occurred, but I assume it was so he could get his beloved LeBron James a triple-double.

After every single shot in the last minute the game was paused, stats were checked, then he would throw up a rediculous shot so he could intentionally foul me and hope LeBron got another rebound when I missed my free throws. Now, admittedly, I was pathetic from the FT line. The reason is because it was my first game with my team, and I am useless with the actions that I am not used to.

When the stats checking started I thought he must have been checking his PIP, which he was obviously quite worried about also. But after a while, he would start checking LeBrons stats, and when I noticed he was one rebound away from a triple-double, I decided not to let him have the satisfaction of poor sportmanship earning him what he didnt deserve.

Now go ahead and say how much I am burning and ragin (Which I quite happily agree I am), but in the end, its my gaming experience and if I'm not enjoying it why should I keep doing it. **** that.

To top it off, after I left I sent him a PSN message saying "Tool". He replied "lol sad". I thought the irony of this was delicious. I'm sad, yet he is the one checking his online stats every 20 seconds?

Im glad im not the only one who feels this way! There seems to be alot of these "tools" in the online leagues. I can't wait for OCT S3 to start so we can start playing some fair fun games again.

Yeah i think ive played that dude, or someone very similar, who kept checking his stats all game and used every second of the timeouts. He also kept bringing up the replays aswell to me for nothing plays, very annoying!

Going to get it to a point no matter where you play unless you have a small group that know each well! Theres a couple in the Aus vs NZ league that love to do it and always have excuses why! Drives ya nuts I know, i was letting loose last night in the Aus vs NZ chat about one guy that was in the chat room with me, but its just an unfortunate part of online gaming with sports games! I just like to vent, smash controllers and then get on with it!

I hear ya Ian im over it already so i'll be staying in the league for now

Jimbo: Its not just Swish, there are a few guys who love the pause and full timeouts just for the f of it, i like a quick flowing game. I don't mind a replay if it was a good move or dunk (Like my J Rich dunk on 2 guys, i should have uploaded it but was too pissed about the cheesing to bother ) but when you're replaying some lame arse move don't bother!
Atleast playing the douch bags you learn a few things for your game

to reslove the problem with cheesing and points in the paint issues i have enforced these new rules. from 2k webpage

Cheesing is a touchy factor and since our league teams are so built up on stars, cheesing is going to be hard to enforce, so im making the rule that 80% or higher PIP is straight reset 75% -79% PIP when urgued about will be reveiwed case by case, if u have a problem with a players style of play meassage me on the ps network...

all games playd so far with ova 80% pip will be reset, as i have should have enforced stricter rules from the start of this league.

sorry for the inconveniances but im trying to make a number of people happy which is nearly impposible

Great call Zel. At the end of the day let the numbers decide as they are the stone cold facts.

You have to take into account FREE THROWS and FAST BREAK POINTS though in the calculation. Because free throws can hide the fact that the player is attacking the paint, and FBP should not be counted because they are not exploiting when often fast break is 1 on 0 or 1 on 1.

Just played a game against the Lakers (Koori) he's a great sport. I got up 12-0 early in the game and he just kept playing, lead stretched from 12-18 over the course of the game and back to 8 but never closer, he didn't quit or show bad sportsmanship.

I'm feeling a LOT better about this team now that I've offloaded Derrick Rose and got some legitimate shooters e.g. Rudy Gay as well as Chris Bosh. I think I've got a good shot at taking out the west if I can keep playing well. Early days though, only 4-3 at the moment.

My team rebounds like crazy, got 38 boards that game. Well rounded too with 10 steals and 6 blocks as well as 14 points off turnovers and 22 fast break points.

Chris Bosh was player of the game tallying 26 points (13/15 FG's), 15 rebounds (3 offensive), 3 steals and 4 blocks. Rudy added 30 points, 7 boards and 5 assists while my sixth man Jordan Farmar hit for 18 points (4/6 from 3) in 6 minutes on the floor.
