Customs cleared Beckett Graded, pickups over the months etc

Took awhile to get here, here are some of the graded and pick-ups. Overall I'm happy with the grades, can't complain about my old MJ and Shaq scoring king(not listed) with a 9.

Sweet pick ups mate and good to see the customs situation was sorted. Im still worried about sending my high end MJ's to them though. I may send you a message some time soon regarding the whole process so i don't have them stuck in customs too long.

Don't know why you'd get the DRob/Rodman graded especially as the auto going off the sticker kills the auto grade, but you've gotta be happy with all the gold 9.5s on the others!

@hairyangryfella - to tell you the truth, I did not even look at the autograph of DR carefully when I sent off the cards to be graded.

@Verse1 - I did post a reply to this thread: http://www.ozcardtrader.com.au/foru...anyone-interested-getting-cards-graded-8.html. The most expensive card was the KD Fleer Hot prospects auto RC. I would hesitate to send the high-end MJs to be graded through the post. I will prefer to do it on the spot at a cardshow in the US, btw isn't Garth (postgsl) heading to the conventions in Chicago this year (jealous!!!).

This whole grading thing has been an experience for me! Compiling the cards I wanted to send for grading - insured it for what I think it is worth for insurance purposes only to get pinged by customs.

Prior to this, submitting the order in Nov leading over to xmas which is a big no-no for me now since I only just received the package yesterday (xmas holiday and customs delay etc). I did so many follow up phone calls (early mornings) and emails to Beckett, Aust Post, USPS because there were no tracking information for days sparking sleepless nights thinking the package has been lost .

I complained to Beckett about USPS (on why we we can't used UPS / DHL etc for returned package), they are not budging on shipping arrangement but offered me free return shipping free for my next order (US$44 off)!

Crazy stuff Clem! Love the westbrooks and the chrono canvas auto's.

Agree with hairy about the D-Rob auto - another frustrating aspect of sticker autos... Pippen and Drexler sigs were my faves in that lot - HOF goodness!
