Hey Guys,
So I got back from my cruise this arvo but boy it was a crazy and unusual holiday it was. This is how it went..
So for the first 2 days the water was a bit rough seeing we were leaving from Brisbane (my prays to everyone up there.) Than on the 3rd day we got to the first island-Noumena. It was a great island, wonderful beaches.
So we wake up the next morning and the captain tells us-'Due to terrible weather in Lifou, we are unable to stop at Lifou. We will now start to go to Port Villa.' Everyone is of course very dissapointed.
We get to Port Villa and guess what the captain tells us...'We are very sorry to say, but due to yet again terrible weather in Port Villa we will not be able to port at Port Villa. We will now set off back to Brisbane.' Turns out a Cyclone hit Port Villa, lucky we got away from it.
The next day, captain tells us-'As everyone knows Brisbane has floods at the moment, and the Brisbane port is closed to all ships untill further notice. We will set off to SYDNEY and set port there.'
It turned out well because 5:30 this morning me and my family watched from the front of the boat, the ship sail into Sydney. We went under the habour bridge and all, just amazing. We has booked a holiday in Brisbane for 4 days after the cruise, but we had to cancel that holiday, due to the floods, we said it is just not safe.
Wait I am not done. We got off the boat at around 8:15AM this morning and we had all out suit cases with us so we couldn't really do anything.....our plane was planned to leave at 8:00PM..............
So we got to the airport at around 9:00AM and asked if we could get a early flight back. We got a 2:15PM flight. We spent hours and hours at SYD Airport and when we were about to get on the plane..........it got delayed by half and hour. Than we..GOT HOME!!!
So that was my holiday, pretty crazy huh?
