Which 2 Former U.S. Presidents died on the same day? What was the date?

The correct answer was:
Former United States presidents John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died on the same day. They both died on July 4, 1826.
Which coincidently was the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
