Common Cards

With all the busting of cases and boxes I have been wondering what traders are doing with their commons cards.

I have sold a number of sets, tossed away a many boxes and taken some to the children's hospital . The later certainly gives me the most satisfaction.

Other than having them signed by players, what do you do with your overflow of commons ?

I did something similar to you, I took them to a local footy club and let them hand them out to the kids.

I heard they went crazy for them!!

Gave some spare Souths commons to a teacher.

I give my son a set each year to give to his Class.
In the Hope it engorges future collectors.

Great to hear that they are being passed on. A special treat for the kids at school. Reduce wastage, put a huge smile on their faces, and eliminate their need to buy packets for shops leaving more inserts for us ;o)

If anyone is getting rid of any Melbourne Storm commons, especially Cronk, Slater and Cam Smith, I would love some for my little son. I can't find anyone selling NRL cards over here in Perth.

Anything that works in a school like mine! You can take the kids out of the Horowhenua, but you can't take the Horowhenua out of the kids. Just ask Russell Packer and James Tamou...oh right...Tamou is 'Australian' ....but then I often pretend I don't live here too!
