COMC submissions

I suppose it's a learning curve for them as well. If they come across an unforeseen issue then they have to make contingencies as they go. Remember, not all customers would be great blokes and as understanding as all of us.

I agree mate, and as much as I like (and use) the COMC mailbox I just cannot see the logic in replacing toploaders at a cost purely for processing, which is a service we do not need for a forwarding mailbix service, which was initially promoted as such for intl collectors to get cards sent/forwarded to them, and this is true despite all the backpeddling on the mailbox's purpose which has been done since.... How many here signed up because they wanted a way to get cards processed for flipping on COMC??? Again, I think the service is the best out there at the moment, but it could be a lot better... that is my frustration

True, I don't have a problem with the additional cost of toploaders when I buy directly from their site but I'm almost certain that the vast majority of cards they receive would already be adequately packaged. Some gouging perhaps?
Anyway, they are providing me with a service that otherwise would not be available, so I still like 'em.

Thanks...any of you guys actually got your cards yet ?? LOL And for that matter, a bill from COMC - no nasty surprises ????

I have had 2 shipments arrive here in oz of between 40 to 50 cards each in toploaders and both times the postage was between $14 and $16. Of course add the 50c per card for processing too.

I did get a bill for $1.15 because a seller sent a card with insufficient postage on it and US postal service charged COMC that.

I had the same reservations so I just did some low end purchases first to see if they arrived. The fact they photograph the cards and email you when the cards arrive gives you a bit of peace of mind.

Haha man that is crazy.

I bought 3 Deon Butler refractor autos off a guy on eBay /5 jersey numbered /15 and /30. I hadn't seen these cards for sale ever in the 3 years I had been collecting him. I had kinda forgotten about them with all the other deals I had going on at the time. I didn't receive any emails from saying they had got them. After a awhile I received a email from borderlinx saying that I had them sitting there for to long and if didn't pay $150 or something like that they'd sell the cards to make money back

I think the COMC mailbox is a great service. I do agree though that when the cards arrive in a toploader (or in some cases a 1-touch as I have had a couple) that these should be kept with the card.

I have not had anything arrive in a while but had this beauty come in today:

I have been wanting a Howie Long auto for quite some time, and with his cheapest autos (normally the old school Proline / Proset autos) selling for normally around the $20 I couldn't resist picking this National Treasures #d/10 auto up for just over $30 dlvd.

Just thought I'd put this one up coz that looks like a foot print on the envelope.

The card looks OK though - Knowshon Moreno has a few nice one's around as well.

Looks like I have had a card go missing at COMC... Tracking says delivered a month ago (finally got tracking from seller) and nothing has showed up in my mailbox

Sent COMC an email 2 days ago and have heard nothing as yet (weekend tho)

Please keep an eye out in your mailboxes for this card, thanks guys

Not good mate! Fingers crossed it turns up and was simply missed / thought they had scanned it already.

Im annoyed at the seller as well for taking a month to provide tracking (only after I opened case).... Seller prob thinks I tried to scam him as well

Hopefully it shows up.... Also had 2 low end A Gates auto's sent to Borderlinx last week (must of selected wrong addy on phone - no more paypal on phone) Dont know whether I want to pay an extra $30 to get them... maybe good excuse to get a cpl of jerseys from the chargers shop

Got a few more into the COMC mailbox during the week.

Don't know what Pirahna Marsh is exactly?

I'm finding some nice cheap jersey cards, time to land a few signatures.

The Moreno Certified looks nice and dirty. May actually be game worn even

These Certified Gold's with the white material are all a bit grubby. The Hillman is slightly marked as well and I've also got a dirty Von Miller.

I have not had a lot lately, but here is a couple...

Rod Streater 2012 Crown Green Non-Diecut Sp/3

DJ Hayden 2013 Playbook #d/299

And this little beauty. He is not a Raider, but JJ Watt would have to be my favourite non-Raider so I couldn't resist not getting this from Topps Valour

I also tried to pick up a really cool Watt Auto from 2012 Limited "Inked" set but the card never showed up. So I would be very wary of the seller "bench_nutrition". In the past 6 months he has had 4 Negatives for the same thing.
