Hey gang, really sorry about that - we had some server/accessibility issues earlier this morning. I didn't get the details, but it's been fixed. It was around 4 in the morning here when it happened, so we were slow in getting it fixed.
@Moe@COMC just wanted to check as this was a little daunting for me. Sorry if this has been answered before.
I just organised my first shipment home from COMC and one of my cards purchased from the site had an incorrect description, but the correct picture.
The description reads 1993-94 Topps Gold #155 Jack Haley, however the picture is the correct card of a 1993-94 Topps Gold #155 Gary Payton.
Does this look like a potential issue at all? Or if the item ID matches to the Payton pictured, should that be enough to get the Payton that I purchased?
Hi, sorry I didn't see this earlier - the pictures and card ID numbers are used by the staff, to get around issues like missing card information. They check the card info and the images when preparing shipments, and everything is supposed to match before they proceed.
Had my shipment of 170+ cards arrive today. Whilst the manifest was missing a lot of info it appears to be there all in one piece from what I can tell so far. It also arrived in 8 working days on only the slowest shipping option, world record time! Very happy with that!
I have also experienced this earlier this year (im in the Netherlands, Europe).
I had a package shipped from comc around jan.10th and another package around feb. 6th.
The package from februari arrived last week of februari, which got me worried that my januari package was lost because it still hadnt come in yet.
One day after i requested more info on the package from comc on this januari shipment, it finally arrived! Was march 14th i think.
Sometimes packages can get hung up (customs etc.) and take more than two months to arrive.
Hopefully you will get yours fast now though!
Well I've just requested my first shipment with a total of 18 cards over the course of 5 weeks. Combination of purchases and eBay submissions in there. Hope to see it in the next two weeks and it might be my only mailday for a while as weddings are expensive!
Likely won't be fixed for days. They'll be losing sales left right and center I imagine. But I agree, it's not acceptable. Imagine the uproar if this was eBay, especially that COMC golds paying customers money.
