I have all my sets in folders(about 20 folders) and my pippen collection in 2 different folders. all my doubles are in 3000 count boxes and i have 3 of those
all my jordan commons are stored in 9 page sleeve with each card in a penny sleeve... being an accountant, i need some structure, so i have them by brand, Upper Deck has its own folders & the rest in another...
All inserts are in top loaders, i made a wooden box 45cm long & i found it took next to no time to fill... so when i was in the States 3 months ago, i bought one of the boxes that merv uses... they are quite good with the lid & all..
my graded cards i just leave out... as they are good enough protection for me.

I have a large 7ft X 4ft glass shelf cabinet in the lounge with some pc on stands in screwdowns etc. You guys have seen it all before though. Others are in toploaders in boxes and in some 6 folders or so. I also have stuff in one of those big 60lt tubs with lid.
all my high end cards are in their own toploader/screwdown
nique, mj, hill, francis, duncan, webber and shaq all have there own folders which are all pretty damn full too. my nice looking sets i have in folder to but everything else is either in boxes like mervs or in piles so i can get rid of em.
al's card shop in perth CBD does indeed sell those particular boxes, as well as one larger version and a few smaller ones too
i keep my collection stored as follows
1 file for retired stars
1 file for stars drafted before '96, still unretired
1 file for stars drafted between '96 and '99
1 file for stars drafted between 2000 and 2003
1 file for rookie cards of non-stars and players drafted in '04 and '05
1 file for my sets of 93/94 Finest and 93/94 Jam Session
on a side note, my 93/94 Finest Refractor set is now at about 20%, however i have about 67% of the SP refractors
Hehehe ... only 3000 cards. I got 6 x 5000 boxes. 3 and a half have common base from sets I have collected. The other 2 I use to store my doubles of listed players/stars, which I sell/trade.
With my PC, I have them in folders, in 9 card sheets, in card sleeves. I am restructuring my setup, but am moving my preferred players to 1st folders.
Current setup -
1 - Shaq
2 - Penny, Horace, Nick Anderson
3 - Franchise, Dwighty, Jameer
4 - T-Mac, Hill, Mike Miller
5 - Gasol, Dirk, AK47, Krstic, Kukoc
6 - Other Orlando
7 - MJ
couple folders for Retired Stars (80's/90's superstars)
couple folders for 90s stars
then a folder for each year since 95/96, with about 5-10 players from each year (depending on depth)
and then numerous folders of other semistar players.
How do I store them?
I store them in Year/Series/Number order. Effectively, they are stored in the same order they'd be listed in Beckett.
Could anyone suggest a few places in Australia that one could order some of this storage gear from? Looking at the large count cardboard storage boxes, top loaders, the magnetic one-touch holders, 9 pocket folder pages and single sleeves.
