Collecting paralell sets

Does anyone like collecting parallel sets?

The gold parallels of Panini Hoops 13-14 look really good, much better than the base white borders. Am thinking of going for gold with this base set

I love parallel sets.

I was gonna go after the 11/12 Gold Standard /10 but they're exactly the same as the base set just lower numbered

I was chasing these 04/05 UD Trilogy Spectrum /10 but they are so rare, they never come up, so it's tough to do. I like to keep my collection moving. But these are superb. The /100 version might be more realistic.

My latest chase are the Exquisite base Golds /25. Nice

Some old school favorites: 93-94 Hoops 5th Anniversary (I have this set!), 93-94 UD SE Electric Court or Electric Gold, 93-94 Stadium Club 1st day Issue.

How do you guys go about collecting parallels? Buying boxes, singles or bit of both?
