I've read on multiple sites that this trade has been already rejected by the NBA

The proposed trade of Kevin Garnett to the Los Angeles Clippers and corresponding transaction that would transport Doc Rivers from the Boston Celtics' bench to L.A.'s are unlikely to be approved by the league office, according to sources close to the process. ESPN.com

Can't trade coaches at all, technically the celtics had to give clippers permission to talk and sign doc independently with the trade for Jordan & picks needing to convince league office that it's an entirely seperate deal which is a long shot

Now now, if Stern didn't "fuck up his career" he woulda ended up on the Lakers and not the Clips He should be thanking Stern for that
