Being a seller you would be aware that market value is more indicative of the real value of cards. Thats the point the guys are making. We simply read beckett for the articles.

Gone are the days when we ask how much something is and we get a response like "Book and a quater".

Trading BV for BV works sometimes but only when players are as hot or cold as each other.

Just a heads up to how we mostly work.

Yes fully aware of market value and BV. I honestly didn't realise these particular sets are readily available for a song. I thought these were very popular 90's sets which are becoming harder to find? Guess I'm wrong. DAMN EBAY!! :x lol

Also pointed out the fact I was never at any point asking $305.00 as was mentioned, but was ASKING $220.00.

If a cash offer was made for these three sets, I may knock say $50 off, making it Au$170.00.

PLMK your opinions on market value for these complete sets. How much can you get them for? How much are your sets???

I knew that of the three was very cheap but :shock: also. Unfortunately it wasn't available to Oz.

Just the All Star set you found was the year later! Big diff as you can see from the same seller. His start price is US$55 and bin US$90.

Like the look of his team Leaders set, but I reckon condition could be suspect.

Thanks JV, I know it did sound confusing!

I know at my shop(Wanneroo W'end Markets) we have a display which has two MJ Jerry West Select cards for $15ea(not certain which numbers they are) plus a few other cards eg MJ 92/93 TSC MC Beam Team, MJ 92/93 UD 15000 PC, 92/93 Fleer Total D, approx $39ea I think.

I do have some of your wants, but ATM are in my PC.

i think the general consensus, especially seeing as i have offloaded a lot of stuff to a lot of members here is that about 40% beckett is a good starting point, and i have been letting a lot of stuff go for 35%
