I am finally back graphing NBA basketball again for a change!!! For those that have read my posts in the past would know that I use to graph the NBA up in Michigan for a few years. To make a long story short, I have not been able to do it as much the past two years since I transferred to a school down in West Virginia. That resulted in my graduation and since then I relocated down to NC for now.
Went to Charlotte for the Bobcats open scrimmage today. After hearing and finding out that they would sign autographs after the scrimmage, I thought I would give this event a try. I have heard they did the same thing last season where the Bobcats players signed after the open scrimmage. With the current NBA Lockout finally over, it is nice to be back graphing the NBA again!!! Here are the results I had from today:
Bobcats
Derrick Brown 8/8 cards, *pic with*
Matt Carroll 1/1 card
Gerald Henderson 1/4 cards
Durrell Summers 2/2 cards (I think he was surprised to see that I had cards for him. He told me that I am the 1st person to show him the UD college card that he has out. This was a nice surprise.)
Tyrus Thomas 1/3 cards, 1/1 8x10 photo!!! (I seem to have good luck with this tough signer lol. Wish he signed his big autograph on my 8x10 but I have no complaints...)
D.J. White 2/8 cards (Before I got my stuff ready for him, he kept saying to me that he got me. Nice to see he is on top of things when it comes to signing.)
Reggie Williams 2/2 cards
Paul Silas 4/4 cards (He was actually thrilled to see that someone had cards for him. Graciously signed them all no problem.)
Rob Werdann 1/4 cards (Don't understand this at all since his NBA career did not last that long. Oh well for now...)
Kemba Walker 1/1 Sports Illustrated magazine cover, 1/1 Kicks Magazine cover, and *pic with!!!* (He ended up signing all over the place after the scrimmage. If you were able to get near him, he did pics no problem.)
That is all I got to share for today. Won't be doing the Hawks since I am aware of their new security guard and have heard all the stories about him. Next up for me will be the Bucks sometime around Christmas. Thanks alot for looking today!!!
Kemba is gonna be a sparkplug! Maybe Werdann doesn't like reminded of his not so illustrious career... Did you get to see the scrimmage? Like hearing the stories behind the sigs mate, keep up the good work!
