Following on from the idea of collective collecting I present the next logical direction in building community interaction and activity. This works on the idea that as a group we are stronger and will hopefully create movement that may not have been achieved through the normal trading avenues.
The way it works is I will start by listing a card/s (worth roughly $3 - $5) and a member who will receive this card like so:
Member 1 - 2012 Milestone (example only so don't get excited if your name is member =P)
I will then list a card that I need that is of similar value ($3 - $5) like so:
Drama5 Needs - 2012 B/F
I then wait for a fellow member who has that card to post like so:
Drama5 - 2012 B/F
Member 2 Needs - 2006 Gold Ablett
At this stage I will send the card to member 1.
Member 2 will then wait until Member 3 confirms and then send the card. Member 3 will then wait until Member 4 confirms and so on and so forth. This then continues in a chain indefinitely with one cards sent to one member and received from another member.
Simple concept but I am sure it will confuse a few people so direct any questions to the thread I have created and if you don't understand then please don't get involved until you are 100% happy you understand how it all works.
Few Quick Rules
1 - All cards must be of similar value and between $3 - $5
2 - cards are only sent when next member confirms the chain
3 - There is no limit to how often you participate so if you have the card then get involved.
4 - Try not to post cards that are ridiculously hard to find or uncommon as this will only slow down the chain.
5 - If you post a card that you need and after a week it appears no one is helping budging then I recommend changing the card to something else.
Once again easy concept and as it is only small inserts there is no reason that we shouldn't be able to fly through the trades and help improve numerous collections.
I will kick the thread off below and as its the initial post the well deserved member can enjoy the choice of free cards! PM Sent.
