Yes the centre piece of my collection arrived today

Ben Gordon 04-05 UD Exquisite Collection Rookie patch auto

I have been after this card for a while but didn't expect to be able to afford it until next year. I received an award at work for employee of the quarter about a month ago which came along with $750 reward. I decided that this would be the perfect chance to go after this card cause i also had in change (5,10,20 & 50 cent pieces and $1 & 2 coins that total to just over $700) which gave me enough money to go after the card. The 1st time i went after the card it went for $1250us mainly cause it had a 3 colour patch, that was to much for me, but a this card came up again 3 weeks ago with a 2 colour patch for $980us and thank god i was the winning bidder for the card. I couldn't justify paying another $270us for the same card just cause it has 3 colours. Needless to say i am estatic to have the card in my collection.

Would just like to point out that that is an Exquisite Rookie Auto Patch, not an Ultimate Collection Rookie Auto Patch. Nice card, though I'd go after a high end Jordan Auto if I had a grand to spare.

thanks for all the great comments guys, have fixed up the card description guys (got a little excited). Yeh i know i could have gone after a Jordan auto but this card is one that i really wanted in my collection, believe me it was very tempting to go after a Jordan auto but i figure that there are heaps of Jordan autos on the market which i can go after in the future.

Mavs, unfortunately that is about the average price that the Exquisite Ben Gordon rookie goes for.

Man, sweet pick up indeed and good price too.

One guy has 14 or so of them, so this is why they are harder to come by and have a bigger price tag to boot.

once again guys & girls thanks for all the nice comments, yep Magic was pretty happy when i picked it up at the post office today. Scotty if ya think this card is expensive (which it was, i wont be spending that much money on one single card for long while). The Dwight Howard rookie card from this set went for just over $2200us (i think it was a 4 colour patch) on ebay the same day i won this card.
