It's very hard to pick but I'm taking the Heat in 7. Now I can't remember if that's what I picked in the contest thread!
 
7 pages of posts and the series hasn't started yet!!! I'll be writing my preview on my blog tonight and will post it here when it's up!!!
 
damn this is tough for me, i love the celtics, (its my fiance's team) but i love the heat more! your going to be able to cut the tension with a knife in my household while this series is going on! as i said to my fiance, at the end of this series. one of us is going to be excited...and one of us is going to be dissappointed, but atleast if im the one dissappointed my Heat still have many years of relevence to make up for it! the Celtics on the other hand.......
I'm picking the Miami Heat in 7. its going to be a good series!
 

I agree mate, its going to be a real tough series, like you say the Heat have many seasons to make it up if they lost unlike Boston, If Miami win this series Im going to say they will win the NBA Finals this year

I'll agree with that. I think the only team that can beat Miami is Boston. Trouble for u boys is I think Boston WILL beat them!
 
as much as i hate the celtics and i agree with jimbo pierce IS the biggest sook/whiney little *****/flopper/uses the pump fake too much and jumps into other players to get to the line! garnett isnt so though, maybe a little dirty but is hugley intense and the best defender ever at power foward to play the game period and i love lebron as he has always been one of my 2 fav players (along with kobe) but they will probably win in 6 or 7! they are more experienced deeper and bigger, set too many good screens and they have the ability to use pierce falling over and pretending to have a life threatning injury to bring them back from a deficet!!!
the only way the heat can win is to defend their home court, play stifling defence, get the big 3 firing for most of the series and get the celts into early foul trouble...thats all...
 
Interesting fact...both Wade and Lebron has not beaten the Celts by themselves in a playoff series...I think both of them have something to prove this time round though...i'll admit the Heat is not as good a team as Boston but they have key pieces to take it...home court advantage is huge in this...my prediction is the Heat in 6

The real question is how long before Garnett commits a dirty play? any guesses? i'll go with 6 minutes in. haha

and way to respond with a stupid foul which should have been an intentional as he tackled him...
 
that last second layup was pretty sweet... kind of an ugly game so far... heat struggling to hit a shot while allen looks like the only person that can make anything.
 
this game is def. not over though... Celtics will def. make a push and we all no how the Heat have been before when it gets close haha
 
Yeah true. Though they withstood the C's run there & got the lead back up again..... but yeah, I think the C's will bring it to them a little better in the second half & make more of a game of it.
