If your in a rural area than how hard is it to put the cat in the cage and drive it a kilometre or two away from your property and put on the side of the road? The cat's not going to make it's way back to your property!
The cat's eat the parrot, hence 'The Food Chain'. Parrots eat worms and other organisms.
Really not humane or necessary to kill the cat..
yeah, youd have to do more than just move them down the road a bit...those suckers know how to get where they want.
and i dont think anybodies claiming these are poor little cutie cats. just that drowning them may not be the only solution...
i would agree that if youre in a very rural area, theres nothing wrong with you and your mate doing what would only be done by governing bodies anyway. but you should do it humanely. i think peeps (me at least) were just a little disturbed that you thought drowning was more humane than head shot. which would you rather?
I have personally seen (not done) cats killed in many ways and apart from a lethal injection which costs plenty... drowning was the best way to go, as stated before when the cat is in the trap "he is not a happy little camper" I for one will not stick my hand in there to get him out..they tend to be easier to handle after a "soothing bath"
you realise the 'humanely' part is in relation to the cat...not how easy it is for you to do the job? and i still dont see how shooting it is less humane?!
but honestly, whatever. not really any of my business...
How can you comprehend that from what I said, that a worm can eat a cat??? I think we all know that worms can't rely on cats for food, yes worms are decomposers but they're not going to rely on deceased cats for food.
Worms eat bacteria, grass clippings and general compost..
Yes, I know these cats are FERAL, but you don't have to drown them in bins or get your 'mate' to kill them.
Yes, I know that and agree with you, but what i'm saying is that worms have many other sufficient sources of food, they don't rely on dead cats..
Look I don't really care anymore, but where did you put the cat when you killed it?
ohh and in my opinion. If the owners let their cat roam at night it is a feral, anyone who cares for their pets would have them somewhere safe and sound at night.
You've got to be fkn kidding me!!
We have a cat. It has a cat door. It is allowed to go in and out (thought it does spend most of its time indoors). Are you saying that it would be ok for somebody to do whatever they want to our cat to get rid of it just because we let it go outside at night?? You are one ignorant disturbed SOB.

I also thought you were leaving the forum Captain, so do us a favour and do it already
Correction - I am not a cat lover, I just believe in humanity..So please don't label me as something that i'm not.

Your contradicting yourself by saying you don't condone killing after you trapped a cat in a cage and got the 'shotty' out.
