thanks John, and yea you are correct i meant that you gotta do things the right way 100% of the time, i understand that sometimes things happen and not every deal will turn out sweet..............so in short give or take a couple % lol
Well at least the last 2 guys sound like they have a grip on things. Maybe the clown could post the cards to admin to prove they are in more than reasonable condition , as he has simply changed his mind , nothing to do with the condiion of the cards.
By all means post pics of the cards and I'll take a look.
But at the end of the day if someone involved in a trade is not happy with the condition of the cards when they arrive, why should they not be entitled to return them? Why do you think that they MUST complete the trade regardless?
2c from me... Don't deal with children or amateurs. Describe cards in their condition as best as possible. Don't expect everything in a 100-card lot of commons to be pristine!

2 cents of good value there hairyone, but why worry about pristine commons, they are always going to be just a common, a seller threw 200 commons in to a deal for free just to fill the box for me this week

I'm in the middle of a trade at the moment.. I was awaiting the cards before posting due to the traders low feedback score!
The cards i've received are in terrible condition, although they are only base cards they have absolutely no use to me in the condition they are in..
I could understand one or 2 edges here and there but these cards are all edged.. around 100 or so cards.
I've message the person and they want me to complete my end of the deal because apparently i didn't ask the condition of the cards.
Just wanted to know where i stand on this one..
I'm sure i would have asked condition, but have nothing to back me up in relation to this as there is no sent items in my inbox..
Ok... IMHO you the condition of the cards SHOULD be mentioned if they are worse than NRMT-MT...... Anyone that says the buyer should ask the condition of the cards before buying is just silly.... you would assume (yes I know, assuming makes an ass of me and you lol) that the seller would tell you if they were any worse, but unfortunately that isn't the case. It's almost like saying it's ok if someone sent you a card bent in half... but it's fine for the seller that they didn't disclose that as the buyer didn't ask.

at the end of the day it's up to the individual, I don't think asking first is silly....the point i was trying to make is, if the seller does not tell you the condition of the card (so it is documented) then you should ask him the condition so he has to reply to you (so it is documented) and do not delete any messages until both parties have agreed the deal is completed it is that easy.. you don't need a rule... you said it exactly "Never assume". Looselips666 will learn from this and move on as I am sure Elusive winger will also....like I am about to
yep true, but are you going to rely on someone else to do the right thing..if your answer is yes then I am sure there is a lot of used car salesmen out there who would love to meet you. Trust No-one
