Even though I was busy with working over the holiday weekend this past weekend, I was able to make it out to a card show that went on at the local mall here Sunday morning. I only had 2-3 hours to check it out before I had to go to work, but it was enough time actually for me to get through all the tables that were there at the card show. It was not a really big one but I did find some stuff I was able to trade for, and a card I think that I got a steal on with the price the seller sold it to me for. Alright here are scans of my big pickups from this show:
I made a blockbuster deal and in this deal involved the 5 Piece GU that had DH12, Bill Walton, David Robinson, etc. on it along with a couple other cards. Here is what I got in this mix:
The Davidson and Gordon are PC cards as I have never gotten them on cards IP before and with knowing that Gordon is impossible to get IP I was happy to get this card obviously.
The RC cards even though they are numbered, I will be saving them for IP autos next season depending on where they are at and if they are still in the NBA lol. The Papelbon is #'d to /50.
The Ramirez is a Refractor GU #'d /199 and I got this for my Red Sox PC as I am a Red Sox fan lol.
What I also received but not scanned was a ton of RC 2008 Bowman Baseball base I will use for IP autos, and or 50/50s I will send out that I might need help with. This all covers the blockbuster deal I made...
I also checked the other sellers at this show, and I saw these 2 cards. One of them I need for my PC and the other one I thought would be expensive but this seller offered them both to me for only $40 and I decided to take it thinking I got a steal on these 2 cards:
Mainly the Isiah Thomas one obviously lol. I will look forward to your comments on this deal that I think is a steal...
I did get some mail today. This came from a trade I recently did. I did get a couple base in the process and I also got this:
This card is #'d to /75 and this card is obviously going to my PC.
