Hi All,
I bought an oversized jersey swatch card, and it came with 2 bent corners.

It came into the mail via a bubble mailer (no toploader or cardboard or anything) but i thought it would arrive in excellent condition. 2 bent corners is not excellent condition. What should i do? As the subject suggests im not devastated but im not ecstatic about the 'excellent' card being flawed from lack of packaging now.

The top right and bottom left are the damaged and bent areas but aren't visible in this scan.
 
I hate that!!!! Even though it was cheap- its a good card and a refund of $1.76 does not do it justice! Thats just lazy- if he has given you feedback, neg him and you may feel better!
 
I hear you. I bought a signed Josh Smith photo a couple of months back and it was packed with a piece of cardboard as thick as the photo and naturally it was creased in numerous spots. Once again, like you, I wasn;t devastated although it had wrecked the photo in general. I told the seller and he offered me a refund because it was his fault given the lack of packaging (that IS the sellers responsibility) and in the end I declined and just copped it cause like I said, not devastated and really only a hand signed piccy so no real huge value anyhow.
In this case though I would be more annoyed because it is a proper endorsed and create product and now with bends is worthless (except for the obvious personal satisfaction and sentimental value). Would simply ask the seller why he packed it so poorly and tell him what's happened and see what he says. It is his responsibility afterall!
 
I wouldn;t be so hasty to neg...I mean sure it makes you feel better a bit but a little tact is required. If he's rude though once you mention it or tries to wipe his hands clean, NEG-ER-RAMA!

(This coming from a guy whom has never given a neg...)
 
I get really annoyed when I get a card that hasnt been packed properly, especially if it gets damaged. Its pretty much my pet hate on eBay.
 
Hard to comment... scans dont help evaluate the condition enough.

You probably wont get anything out of the seller, just cop this one on the chin....
